I’d like to thank you for volunteering to coach and for your patience & help getting West Valley Spring 2021 season off the ground.
It has been quite a challenge to secure the permits with all of the school closures, but we have cobbled together enough fields & we are extremely excited about the opportunity to get the kids back on the fields playing soccer.

I know you probably all have questions - let’s hope I answered most of them below:
Q - When will the schedules be ready?
A - We have been working on them all weekend - hopefully we will have them to you Tuesday or Wednesday of this week (We may send it out tonight)
Q - Will we have uniforms before the first game?
A - We certainly hope so. We are pushing the uniform manufacturer as much as we can. But it's going to be tight. I may have to drive out there on Thursday/Friday to pick them up myself. Anyway, no guarantees they will be able to hit our production deadline (much tighter this year due to our compressed timeline)
Q - If the uniforms are not ready how will you handle the first week's games?
A - If the uniform company cannot get us the uniforms before Friday we will need to use some sort of scrimmage bibs, rather than postpone opening weekend. The league can provide bibs and/or gray RSC practice t-shirts to be worn by the "home" team (listed 1st in the schedule). Due to covid, we would need to provide 1 clean bib/t-shirt per (home team) player. That should not be a problem, but if you do have your own set of bibs, it would be much appreciated if you could bring your own on game day (should uniforms actually be delayed)
Q - How do you plan on distributing the uniforms?
A - We hope to have the uniforms ready for pick up on Friday evening and will have a drive-thru distribution in the parking lot of the office (More information to follow soon)
Q - How will you decide which team gets what color?
A - Due to Covid we cannot have our usual uniform distribution meeting where coaches take turns and pick their colors. So unfortunately, uniform colors will have to be assigned at random. All of the team uniform packages will be in cardboard boxes (color not visible) - when you drive-thru, you will get a box & it will be the luck of the draw.
Q - I have more players on my team than the official number for my age group - how will I get the extra uniforms?
A - We have tried to order sets containing an appropriate number of uniforms for each team (accounting for all of the extra players that we know about). But if you need to order an additional uniform, once you know what color you have been given, you will be able to order through the link below:
