Howard is the President of WVSL/Real So Cal and now LAFC So Cal Youth.   Howard’s passion for youth soccer combined with his professional leadership has helped guide Real So Cal to be one of the best youth soccer clubs in the United States.  Howard has been President of WVSL since 1998. He is the Vice President of SCDSL (Southern California Soccer Developmental League). He began in WVSL/RSC as a parent coach in 1991 and has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 1995

Paul Clifton

Paul serves as General Manager and Director of West Valley Soccer League, now called LAFC So Cal Youth Recreational League.  Paul oversees the day to day operations of the Recreational League with more than 3,000 players in both a Spring and Fall League.  He began in WVSL/RSC as a team coach in 2000 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2003.

Darlene Quintanar

Darlene is the Board of Director’s Secretary and our Club Administrator.  She is responsible for the day to day administration of our organization as well as registration. Darlene also interfaces with our retailer.  She is responsible for the selection, acquisition and distribution of products to the club.  Darlene also manages all travel activity for the ECNL teams. Darlene started with WVSL/RSC in 2006 as a team manager and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2008.

Josh Levy

Josh is the treasurer of WVSL/RSC. Josh has been playing soccer since he was 4 years old. He first started playing for West Valley Soccer League and then transitioned to So Cal United (now formally Real So Cal). During his time with So Cal United his team won 4 state championships, two regional championships and one national title. He played collegiate soccer for UC San Diego. His love for the game as both a player and fan has spurred his interest in coming back to his roots to continue to help Real So Cal grow and thrive as one of the strongest clubs in the US.

Bob Schwarz

Recreational Director

Bob’s main responsibility is with the recreational program.  His primary focus is in the youngest age groups, U5 through U8, helping to organize and run the Fall and Spring programs.  He began in WVSL/RSC in 1995 as a team manager and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1999.

Marcos Solorzano, Esq.

Marcos has been a member of WVSL/Real So Cal as a parent, coach and manager since 2016.  Marcos began playing soccer in the San Fernando Valley at the age of 4 years old. At the age of 13 he began playing club soccer with West Valley United and later with the North Hollywood Jets.  Marcos also played high school soccer for Crespi Carmelite H.S. and is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara.  Marcos’s son Vicente currently plays in our competitive U10 program.  

Jose Dryjanski

One of Jose’s tasks is to train and oversee our WVSL referee staff. Jose previously served as the club’s registrar for Cal South.   He began in WVSL/RSC as a team manager, coach and referee in 1999.  He has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2001.

Karl Becker

Karl has been a member of WVSL/Real So Cal as a parent, coach and manager since 2009.  Karl’s son Jordan began his soccer career with WVSL at age 5, moved into pre-club at age 7 and transitioned to our competitive program at U9.  He currently is a member of the ECNL 2003 program. Karl currently serves as the manager of the 2003 ECNL team as well as the coordinator for the boys ECNL program.
