Elite
Elite Clubs National League (ECNL)
The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) is a nationwide organization consisting of two youth soccer leagues (male and female), and is considered to be the strongest and most competitive youth soccer platform in the country.
Individual clubs are members of the league, and membership is limited to ensure a high quality of play.
ECNL was founded to improve the daily environment for youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, and coaching and club development platforms.
Member clubs are organized into geographic conferences for league play, which begins in September and concludes typically in May, with a break during the Winter for High School soccer.
Teams also participate in national ECNL events against teams from other conferences. Teams may also qualify for an end-of-the-year playoff event, typically held in June, with national championships held in July.

Elite Clubs National League - Regional League (RL)
The ECNL Regional League is an extension of the Elite Clubs National League, offering competitive conference play and a pathway to ECNL National events.
Individual clubs are members of the league, and membership is limited to ensure a high quality of play.
Boys ECNL-Regional League and Girls ECNL-Regional League operate similarly, but are designed specifically for each gender and their respective youth soccer landscapes.
ECNL Regional Leagues are operated and managed so as to ensure a consistent environment and level of professionalism across all leagues, facilitating more club connectivity between levels of play and providing a path for more players within each Member Club to reach their fullest potential. Each league allows for coordination and collaboration between the teams of different levels within ECNL clubs, or opportunity for teams and players in other clubs to develop through regular high-level competition.
Competitive
Competitive or Club level teams participate in SOCAL is a youth competitive soccer organization, offering league play for U8-U19 teams, and also oversees the State Cup competition and NPL.
Clubs are represented as north as Ventura County, and as south as San Diego County.
Each age group is organized as one of several "flights," with each flight representing a different level of competition (Flight 1 is the highest, Flight 4 is the lowest), allowing teams to be placed against similarly developed opponents.
LAFC So Cal teams in our younger boys and girls age groups (U8-U12) participate in this league, and some of our U13-U19 teams who are not in ECNL or ECNL RL
